New Zealand’s favourite Internet gathering, NetHui, will take place on 3-4 October in Wellington at Te Papa.
NetHui brings everybody and anybody that wants to talk about the Internet together. It’s not a conference or a BarCamp, and speakers don’t talk at you all day. It is instead about discussing and exploring possibilities, ideas and challenges, together.
Safety, inclusion and wellbeing on the open Internet will be at the heart of this year’s NetHui. We will discuss it and will develop an action plan as New Zealand Internet enthusiasts to ensure our Internet is open and safe for everyone.
You can have a look at the programme at the NetHui website. It is a work in progress, and more discussion sessions will be added soon.
The tickets for the two-day event cover catering and drinks, and cost just $100 to ensure that we attract everyone and anyone who wants to take part. Fellowships are available if the price is a barrier for those wanting to attend.
