Event: Working with Data Ventures — 30th August 2018

Event link: https://www.eventbrite.co.nz/e/working-with-data-ventures-tickets-49159779223

We are Data Ventures — Stats NZ’s commercial arm.

We formed earlier this year and have been charged with figuring out how New Zealand’s private sector businesses can work with Government in commercial joint ventures relating to using Stats NZ IP and its people. No, we’re not selling Stats NZ data.

We have validated ventures ready for partnerships now. And we want to grow NZ’s economy by working with companies to launch these ventures to the market rather than doing it by ourselves.

Note: This is not a procurement exercise, it is open to any NZ business due to using joint ventures as the mechanism to work together (i.e. not procuring a product/service).

Join us, and invite others you might think are interest in either of these ways:

  • in person for the 30th of August @ 5–7pm, Mojo Featherston Street
  • via our streaming URL at the same time as the event above
  • or post event recording, which we’ll update you right after the event has ended

By joining forces with us, we can create incredible products to generate value, that has purpose and a line of customers waiting to buy.

Here you’ll hear about Data Ventures in more detail, and highlighting the ventures we’re looking for partners. Following that will be a Q&A session to learn more.

After the event, we’ll follow up to hear back from organisations and individuals who are ready to partner with us to take our ventures further.

Warning: It’ll be at a faster pace than you’ve ever expected from government, so buckle up.
